Seed per packet:100
This is a very smooth, slender, cylindrical type bred for forcing and for early harvesting as babies. The flesh is virtually coreless, reddish-orange, juicy, crisp and very sweet; the short foliage allows for dense plantings. Leave to mature for larger carrots.
Carrots grow best in full sun but tolerate some shade. Avoid deformed carrots by planting them in loose soil free from stones or rocks.
